These terms govern your use of the Booklegend app and website, provided by Squirrelhog Pty Ltd (ABN 83 659 968 439, ACN 659 968 439), an Australian-owned company based in Sydney. By using Booklegend you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who can use Booklegend

You need to be at least 16, or have a parent or guardian agree to these terms on your behalf.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Subscriptions and billing

Booklegend is free to use, with an optional Pro subscription. Pro is billed through the App Store or Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your store account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled under the policy of the store you bought through.

The catalogue

Booklegend is built on a curated database of book series, authors and reading orders. We work to keep it accurate, but it may be incomplete or contain errors, and it is provided for personal use. The catalogue and its structure remain ours.

Your contributions

When you suggest a series or report a correction, you give us permission to use that information to improve the catalogue for everyone. Only submit information you are allowed to share.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no scraping or bulk-extracting the catalogue, no reverse-engineering, and nothing that interferes with the app or other people’s use of it.

As-is, and our liability

Booklegend is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use

You can stop using Booklegend and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
